Tiffany Lee
Tiffany Lee is a seasoned litigation and investigations attorney with deep experience in antitrust, consumer protection, privacy, and data security law. She is highly strategic and solutions-oriented, known for achieving pragmatic results in high-stakes litigation, regulatory investigations, and enforcement actions. Tiffany draws on extensive government and private-sector experience, including her service at the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Washington.
Tiffany has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in complex disputes, including multistate investigations, multidistrict litigation, global monopolization and cartel cases, and competitor actions. She has defended leading technology, gaming, manufacturing, and media companies in class actions and has broad experience across all phases of litigation—from discovery through appeal.
As an Assistant Attorney General, Tiffany led high-profile privacy, consumer protection, and false advertising investigations, serving as lead counsel in numerous multistate matters. She negotiated a landmark $10 million, 30-state HIPAA settlement, litigated Washington’s first data breach notification case, challenged the FCC’s rollback of net neutrality rules, and brought the state’s first Anti-Pyramid Promotional Act action. Tiffany also advised state agencies on emerging technology and regulatory issues involving artificial intelligence (AI), cryptocurrency, data privacy, and cybersecurity.
Tiffany began her career at the Federal Trade Commission, where she worked in the Anti-Competitive Practices Division and the Office of International Affairs. She later practiced antitrust law at Wilson Sonsini in New York and California before moving to Seattle, where she served as an Assistant Attorney General and spent five years in private practice at Perkins Coie.
She is deeply committed to pro bono and public service, including impact litigation and civil rights work.

Monopolization Claims: Represented a social networking company and secured dismissal of a putative class action alleging Section 2 monopolization claims.
Exclusive Dealing & Refusal to Deal: Represented a cloud provider in a monopolization dispute involving refusal-to-deal claims under the Washington Consumer Protection Act and Federal Communications Act.
Class Certification Defense: Secured denial of class certification in a follow-on exclusive dealing MDL arising from an FTC consent decree.

State Attorney General Investigations: Represented companies in confidential investigations under the Washington Consumer Protection Act (RCW 19.86), the Consumer Review Fairness Act of 2016, and the Washington Gambling Act (RCW 9.46).
Anti-Pyramid Promotional Schemes: Led and filed Washington’s first case under the Anti-Pyramidal Promotional Scheme Act, featured in the documentary LulaRich.
Hidden Fees & Deceptive Advertising: Directed consumer protection investigations into hidden fees and misrepresented internet speeds.
Data Breach & Privacy Enforcement: Led multistate investigations of major data breaches, including leading 30-state multistate negotiations for consent decree under the Washington Consumer Protection Act and HIPAA; enforced Washington’s Data Breach Notification Statute (RCW 19.255).
